Team Reel Guide - 21-02-2010
The MTSFC have for many years been organising a jolly good day of fishing with the aim of helping children with special needs enjoy a nice day on the banks. This is not easy as every able bodied caster is a volunteer.

I have good reason to say this. I have personally been involved in several of the events as a caster and I have to say what a totally rewarding day this is. Not just for the thrill of our favorite sport, but for the excitement of helping someone else enjoy this sport.
I must urge anyone who is a fly or course caster to get involved, I am sure a quick trip to the website will reveal ways we can all be involved. The people are lovely, the events are very well organised and you get to go to some very lovely waters. Fantastic!
For me, the unique reward is helping a child enjoy a day of fishing. This may seem simple to us anglers, but do you remember your first fish? the thrill you felt when you realised you had actually landed one!

What more could you ask for? Ok, nice weather? Well, it will cost you nothing to look, maybe a quid or two to go. Either way, please check out the MTSFC at 'http://www.mtsfc.org.uk'
